In rare cases the shrieker will spontaneously steal 8 trinkets, and then will show up with the 8 most expensive trinkets in your lost-trinkets set including the ones she stole. Or really ever worry about the buff at all - if rake isn't already killing stuff immediately, you should be using rage anyway. If you lose 8 trinkets total, not including the grey commons, the shrieker will show up, and if she doesnt wipe your party in 4 turns you get them back. You still shouldn't use it on single targets. I used to like to take leper/crusader parties and have them withstand/bulwark, but bulwark only lasts one round now. Unfortunately the occultist needs +stun resist and +debuff to properly weaken the swine princekinggod, and even then the -damage from the curse and +damage from mark stack additively, so the swins is still going to be doing some damage.
